THE GIST OF IT:

As Stanford Engineering enters their next century, they will forge ahead as they always have: fearlessly, together, moving the world forward because they were engineered to. In 2025, their Centennial Year, the team at Stanford Engineering wanted to reinvigorate their community of students, faculty/staff, and alumni by creating a campaign for use across campus events and a speaking tour.

Engineering isn’t defined by the finished result, but by the ten, twelve, or thirty versions that lead to it—the sketches, the missteps, and the prototypes. “The Engineered S,” the centerpiece of the Centennial brand, symbolizes the continual refinement of thought and innovation that has driven Stanford engineers for the past century.

Executions ranged from large event screen graphics to printed materials, all exploring the way the visual system and story of Stanford Engineering could be brought to their audience.
